The Healthscope Group (Healthscope) is

In December 2004, Healthscope
Limited acquired the Gribbles Group. Founded in 1936, Gribbles Australia is an international pathology
group based in Australia with services in New Zealand, Malaysia and Singapore. Its pathology services cover
the broad range of human pathology in all disciplines. It also provides veterinary pathology and
environmental/industrial analytical services. Gribbles Australia is now one of the three largest pathology
providers in Australia, employing over 2000 staff in a network of over 40 laboratories throughout Australia.
In May 2005, Healthscope through
its wholly owned subsidiary, Gribbles Group Pty Ltd acquired Quest Laboratories (Singapore). The acquisition
of Quest provides a solid platform for Healthscope to significantly improve the breadth and depth of its pathology
service offered in Singapore.
Continuing its expansion plans
in Singapore, Healthscope acquired DoctorsLab Diagnostics in December 2006.
